Daybook is designed to keep your information private.
None. Daybook does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information with us or any third party. We operate no servers and use no analytics or advertising.
Everything you write in Daybook is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, your journal syncs through your own private iCloud account using Apple iCloud (CloudKit). That data is controlled by your Apple ID; the developer has no access to it.
If you attach a photo to an entry, it is stored only within your journal — on your device and, if enabled, your private iCloud. Photos are never uploaded to the developer.
If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device.
If you enable the app lock, biometric authentication is handled entirely by Apple on your device. Daybook never receives your biometric data.
Daybook does not collect data from anyone, including children.
